Rules & Regulations

  • School working hours will be from 9.30 a. to 4.00 p.m . All the students are expected to reach the school at 9.30 before the first bell.
  • It is obligatory for all students to write all the Tests and Examinations . Absence from test papers and examinations will be considered a serious breach of school discipline. Pupils who absent themselves from any of the terminal examinations, for any reason, other than sickness justified by doctor’s certificate will be considered having failed for that particular examination.
  • As regular attendance is an important element for successful school work, no student should be absent, himself / herself from class without sufficient reasons.
  • Children are not allowed to bring any valuable articles such as costly watch, mobile phone, jewellery etc. with them.
  • All students come under school rules from the beginning of the journey to school, till they are back home.
  • All pupils should, at all times, maintain a high standard of dignity in their words and deeds.
  • Pupils should always be dressed in the prescribed school uniform . Informal dress is permitted only by the Principal when it is found suitable.
  • Pupil should reach the school before the first bell, no late coming is tolerated. The students, who reach the school campus early, should enter their classroom and spend their time in silent study, till the first bell at 9.30am.
  • Pupils who come late should obtain the signature of the class teacher in their school diary
  • Speaking English is compulsory at school premises, in the school bus and at the bus stops while awaiting to board the bus.
  • Students shall be responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. As a precautionary measure, it is suggested that they have their names inscribed on articles like tiffin carriers, umbrellas, school bags, pencil box, etc. The school authorities will not be responsible for the loss of articles of students.
  • Lost articles retrieved must be claimed from the school office within a week, after stipulated time limit unclaimed articles will be disposed of.
  • Any damage caused to the movable/immovable property of the school must be immediately reported to the Principal and will have to be made good.
  • Classrooms and the school premises shall be kept neat and tidy. All waste papers must be put in the proper receptacle. Students must make a point of picking up and disposing of litter and caring for the appearance of the school.
  • Students are not allowed to go out of the school ,during school hours. Essential school materials are provided in the school. School authorities are not responsible for the safety of students outside the school campus. Students should not remain after class hours (5 p.m)
  • The property of the school should be handled with utmost care and everything should be done preserving the cleanliness of the building and furniture.
  • If a student is absent from the school for a month without leave letter his/her name will be stuck of from rolls and the same is applicable for the students who have not paid fee dues for a month.
  • Late coming and absence are generally not allowed and if anyone happens to be late or absent on any days, he/she should produce a letter from the parent stating the reasons thereof.
  • No students will enter into other class room without due permission.
  • Permission from the Principal is necessary for leaving the school premises during school hours. They will be sent outside only with the parents or the person authorised by the arents previously with genuine reasons; verbal requests through the messengers or students themselves will not be allowed.
  • The principal reserves the right to dismiss a student if he/she is irregular in attendance or disobedient or discourteous to teachers or is resorting to any sort of malpractices during the examinations or tests.
  • Students should keep with them the text and note books required for the class they attend.
  • At the warning bell all must keep silence and proceed to where it summons them. Absolute silence and perfect order should be maintained by all pupils while going to the assembly ground, laboratory, library, play ground or while returning to classes.

  • INSTRUCTIONS TO THE PARENTS

  • It is not advisable for parents to take away their wards during class hours. If a parent wants to take the child during class hours, prior permission of the Principal is required and the same should be intimated before.
  • Absence due to illness or any other reason should be intimated at once. Prior permission is required even for a short period of leave -day or two. Leave record should be duly filled by the parent / guardian on the pages provided in the school diary.
  • In case of serious illness, the Principal must be informed on time, and leave application should be accompanied by a doctor’s certificate. A long absence from the school without prior intimation will be viewed seriously. They are liable to be removed from the roll.
  • As regular attendance is an important element for successful school work, no student should absent, himself / herself from class without sufficient reasons.
  • Parents/guardians are requested to refrain from asking for special leave to attend weddings of other than the child’s own brother or sister or for religious ceremonies, social functions and domestic celebrations as leave for such purpose, is normally not granted during term days.
  • Parents are always welcome to the school to check the progress of their children, especially at the time of P.T.A. Meetings But they are discouraged to meet their children or interact with the teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  • Complaints by parents, if any, or remarks about the staff or school functioning must be brought to the notice of the Principal or Manager.
